Social Enterprise Manitoba is a vital part of enhancing the social enterprise sector in Winnipeg and across Manitoba. We focus on community-based businesses that align profit-making with social and environmental objectives. By reinvesting profits into community initiatives, we aim to address pressing social and economic challenges while empowering local residents.
Founded in collaboration with the Canadian Community Economic Development Network, we strive to connect ideas and resources to support the flourishing of sustainable, equitable local economies. Our mission promotes community-driven solutions, ensuring that local ownership and decision-making are central to our work. We advocate for policies that strengthen our sector and improve investment in Manitoba's diverse communities.
